Paul's Online Math Notes

This is a website written for college students, but I have found helpful information especially for the algebra topics that we work with in Algebra 1 and Geometry.

To access the information, hover over "Class Notes," hover over "Algebra,", and then click on "Algebra Notes."  Topics are listed on the left side of the page.  "Preliminaries" will generally have the algebra topics that you would be interested in.  Also check out the "Practice Problems."  These may be especially helpful if you are needing to review a topic.

Wolfram|Alpha

This is a website that allows you to get quick facts in response to questions that you pose on various topics--not just mathematics.

Wolfram Math World

Using the Alphabetical Index is helpful to find definitions of mathematical terms.  Some of the definitions are written at a high level, which may be difficult to understand.  Others are written at a level that we discuss, or have discussed in class.

The Math Forum & Ask Dr. Math

You may have to look a bit, or wait a bit, to get answers to your questions on this site.  But, there's lots of good information here.  The web address that is listed here takes you directly to Ask Dr. Math.  The home page offers lots more.
