Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, districts must inform and get permission to administer non-academic tests, surveys, and questionnaires. Parents can read the full text of Statute 72-6316 here.

As non-academic tests, surveys, and questionnaires that fit the requirements of the statute come up throughout the year, parents will be given a copy and must opt their child in for the child to have the option to take the non-academic test, survey, or questionnaire.
