Homecoming details announced for students, community

candidatesBe prepared for the busiest event of the year, and it is officially underway: Homecoming!

Homecoming is on Friday, Sept. 28. Candidates are Wyatt Heiman and Brooke Lindstrom, Tristen Stoner and Rebecca Wagner, Mason Griffin and Abby Pressgrove, and Christian Stoner and Saige Steele.The week-long celebration will begin Sunday, September 23 with hallway decorating. Hallway themes are: “Tropical Region” for seniors, “Arctic Region” for juniors, “Forest Region” for sophomores, and “Desert Region” for freshmen.

Dress up days will begin on Monday, September 24 with “Pajama Day” on Monday, “Tourist Day” on Tuesday, “Hawaiian Day” on Wednesday, “‘Merica Day” on Thursday, and “Eagle Spirit Day” on Friday. 

The Homecoming video will be shown on Friday, Sept. 28 at the beginning of fourth period at 10:45 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The parade will take place at 1:45 p.m.

If you would like to get a float in the parade, contact Student Council Sponsor Cyndi Circle at ccircle@silverlakeschools.org as soon as possible. The Homecoming ceremony will take place before the game at 6:35 p.m., with the Eagles taking on Central Heights that night.
