Wright Flight: The students have been studying Aviation through the Wright Flight Program. Wright Flight is a non-profit organization, working with the school, which uses the motivational power of aviation to help kids do better in school.

The Wright Flight program, named after the Wright brothers, consists of nine lessons on the history of aviation. In each lesson, the students learn how the pioneers of aviation set goals and had to overcome obstacles to reach those goals, and how the students can set and achieve goals in their own lives.

The heart of the Wright Flight program is the goal that your student set for this nine weeks. If your student meets this goal, passes a test on the lesson material with an 85 percent or above, and honors a pledge to remain drug, alcohol, and tobacco free, they have earned the Wright Flight aviation reward! This reward is often called, "Fly Day," and the students will have a chance to actually fly an airplane with a qualified pilot. This will take place on a Saturday, later in April or May.

Please support your student in this exciting endeavor. If you have any question
