Project showcase scheduled prior to graduation ceremony

(May 14, 2018)

wood1Kelby Brown, industrial arts instructor, decided to revive the former student project showcase. However, instead of scheduling it on a school night, Brown elected to schedule the event prior to the graduation ceremony in order to allow more community members to view student work.

The project showcase will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 20 in the high school old gym. In addition to student woodworking projects, Tiffany Munz will also display some of her high school students’ sculptures, ceramics, and 2D work. Jamie Manhart’s journalism students will display some of their best photography from the school year, as well as set out extra newspapers that community members will be able to take home with them.
